Check out bQuiet from Toysoft Development – Headless sound notification changer

Have you ever been in a situation where you needed your BlackBerry on silent for a lit bit so you change the profile manually, but after you finish what you were doing forgot to switch the sound back on which caused you to miss a phone call or some other message? Well the developer from Toysoft Development has just released an app called bQuite that will allow you to set a certain profile for a specified amount of time, and when that time has been reached the app will restore the previous sound profile automatically. No more missing important calls or messages because you forgot to change it back yourself.

Like I said you can set bQuite to change any system profile (normal, phone calls only, vibrate only, silent, or all alerts off) from 1 minute to 24 hours and when that duration time has expired bQuiet will automatically switch back to the previous sound profile. This app is perfect for meetings, going into a movie, or even just taking a nap.

There are two ways that you can change Sound Notification.

  • Manually run bQuiet and set the new sound notification. This allows you to set the duration time for the new sound notification. Since bQuiet is headless you can close the application after changing the sound notification.
  • Manually run the settings application and then select notification. Set the new notification mode. You will then get a instant preview message. Open the message and then set the duration you want the sound notification to last Note: Instant Preview must be turned ON in the settings application and in the notification screen. If it is turned OFF you will not be able to set the duration time.

As with all of the Toysoft Development apps it’s running perfect on my BlackBerry Q10 and Z30 devices. It’s been very easy to use and setup whenever I need it.

If you are ready to check out bQuite just head on over to BlackBerry World, it’s only $0.99 and now available for download.
