BlackBerry Q10 Now Available In Canada

BlackBerry Q10Today, May 1st the BlackBerry Q10 device is available in Canada by all major carriers. As of now Rogers Wireless is the only carrier in Canada that has the device online and ready to be purchased via the web, I expect the other carriers such as Bell, TELUS, Fido and Virgin Mobile to follow shortly.

Rogers Wireless and other carriers in Canada will be selling the device for $199.99 on a 3-year contract agreement. If you head over to your local carrier store in Canada the device will be available for purchase.

“The demand in Toronto is very, very strong, and we want to make sure we have enough supply,” chief operating officer Kristian Tear told The Canadian Press.

Update:

  • TELUS has updated their BlackBerry Q10 webpage. $700 outright & $199 on 3-year term.
  • Bell

With the successful launch in the UK and the exclusive sold out sales by Selfridges, I would expect the BlackBerry Q10 to be a success in Canada as well.

For those of you in the United States, the wait is not much longer as the BlackBerry Q10 is expected to be released by the end of this month (May).
