Yes, you read that right. TELUS is setting up to re-launch the BlackBerry Bold 9900. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is known to be one of the best selling and well received BlackBerry. This was also one of the last devices BlackBerry launched before going to work with the PlayBook and as we now know it, BlackBerry 10.

It appears the device was set to re-launch today with limited stock. The device will be sold with a focus on selling to Enterprise. This doesn’t mean regular customers will not be able to purchase one though. The device will be on sale for $100, for 2 years:

  • Available on a 2-year term, with a minimum monthly spend of $70 before taxes, except in Manitoba or Saskatchewan where minimum monthly spend is $50 before taxes; and
  • Available to secondary subscribers on a 2 year term with a minimum monthly spend of $50 before taxes.

BlackBerry recently re-introduced the BlackBerry Bold 9900 on their own storefront.

There you have it. If you’re a TELUS customer and fancy the BlackBerry Bold 9900 for whatever reason, for nostalgic purposes or if you just feel like going back to the BBOS experience, by all means pop into TELUS. Incase you didn’t know what the Bold 9900 carried in terms of specs:

I wouldn’t mind picking one of these bad boys up. The keyboard on this device was incredible. What do you guys think of TELUS re-introducing the Bold 9900?
