In a world of BlackBerry OS7 phones, there are legions of users roaming the streets like the walking dead; gaunt and pale, reaching out for Theme Builder 7 (which seems like it’s never coming!!!!). Into that ghostly scene comes Oberry OS7 by Best139 Designs and wow! Life has returned to BlackBerry 7 users! The animations and details on this theme make it unusual and welcomed.

It’s finally happened! The World of Pootermobile has released a new theme for BlackBerry OS7 phones called Fresco OS7. It is a theme in the default style for OS7 (in the absence of Theme Builder 7) but Fresco is hardly ordinary. Indeed, it is a work of art for your phone. Take a look at these screen shots.

Oh my poor 9930; all dressed for a party, but no Prince Charming! While I bemoan the lack of TB7, my 9930 is stepping out in style with BEAT; a new theme by Ring Walker of Walker Themes. Known for his fanciful clocks, signal meters and animation, Walker has brought his best to this OS7 theme.
My 9930 is doing well, thank you. But it would be really happy if RIM would release Theme Builder 7 to satisfy those theme cravings for customized themes. In my never-ending search for the perfect theme, I have found Carbon LiveDay by BB Freaks.
BB Freaks has churned out a ton of themes for BlackBerry devices, but none of them are flashier than Carbon LiveDay. Carbon LiveDay features the day of the week on your home screen and is available in a multitude of colors. The day of the week stays on your home screen and allows you to change wallpapers to coordinate with it.

I know, I know. You are reading this and saying, “JayDee, where in blazes have you been?” Easy answer. Theme developers stopped making many themes for my 9650 and then JayDee got the itch to upgrade. And well, here I am with a brand spanking new BlackBerry Bold 9930…a sweet device. It is made even sweeter with a new theme (finally themes to review!!!) by MMMOOO called Hard Candy. When I saw this in the BBE Superstore, I couldn’t wait to try it on! A girl can never have too many themes, you know.

Building on the success of the AquaText theme, Simple Design has tweaked the theme to reflect a girly pink Valentine’s Day theme that will make your heart race.

This theme has everything you need right up front. All your meters and indicators are in the lower left-hand corner. There is an OCD slot on the right. And the text menu at the top turns on and off with the Space bar and ESC.
