The wallpaper provided with this theme is probably the only theme-supplied wallpaper I would think of leaving in place. I have followed this with many screen shots of my own patriotic wallpapers, tho to show the readers the potential for this theme.
The apps screen is a blue background with the same American flag designed focus icon. It is striking on the blue background. The highlight for the lists (like email) is a gradient that goes from red to blue. Very clever and it ties the theme together nicely.
